The Tanuki brand of Japanese restaurants was founded in Moscow in 2004 by restaurateur Alexander Orlov and partners. Today there are 74 establishments under the brand "Tanuki" in Russia, Ukraine, USA, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
